Turning off automatic calculation

With every change, COMMITLY updates the forecast and adjusts the projection. These are very compute-intensive operations and can cause delays. Especially when many changes are to be made or budgets planned, this can disrupt the workflow.

A simple way to optimize the planning process is to turn off the automatic calculation of the forecast manually. Budgets can then be planned. The budgets created are shown as inactive and cannot be edited or deleted during this time.

When a budget is created with "Calculation off", it is shown as inactive. The forecast is not calculated.

If, without closing the side panel, you switch the period and then switch back, the new budget is displayed correctly.

When a budget is changed with "Calculation off", it is shown as inactive and the change is not visible. The forecast is not calculated.

If, without closing the side panel, you switch the period and then switch back, the changed budget is displayed correctly.

When you have finished editing, simply turn the automatic calculation back on.
