In groups of companies, there are usually cash flows between the companies of the group. These are referred to as inter-company relationships.
In COMMITLY, inter-company budgets can be created in the Forecast:
A budget is created in one company
This budget is shown mirrored in another company in the same period.
The budget can be edited or deleted. The change is applied in both companies.
Example:
Company A grants Company B a shareholder loan of 150,000.
Create a budget in the company that grants the shareholder loan:
Click the relevant category in the relevant month and click Create budget
Select the option Inter-company
Select the second company (inter-company) and the category in the inter-company company.
Enter -150,000, since the loan is an outflow.
In the budget list in the side panel, inter-company budgets are marked I/C.
In the inter-company company (in this case “Company B”), the loan is shown as an inflow of +150,000.
