Two-factor authentication (2FA/MFA) provides additional protection for the COMMITLY account by using a verification app and a code.
Two-factor authentication is optional. Once activated, a time-based verification code is requested in addition to email and password. The code is regenerated every 30 seconds.
How to set up 2FA in COMMITLY
Download a verification app
Depending on the device, one of the following apps can be used:
iOS: Authy for iOS
Android: Authy for Android or Google Authenticator
Windows: Microsoft Authenticator
Scan the QR code
Open the authentication app and scan the QR code shown in COMMITLY.
Then enter the 6-digit verification code generated by the app and click “Enable MFA”.
Keep the smartphone within reach, as the code changes regularly.
Once activation is successful, the account is additionally secured.
At the next login, the current code from the app is requested.
