Requirements
The following requirements apply to using AI Insights:
AI Insights is available for the company.
A company (not a company group) has been selected.
AI Insights has been activated for the company.
The required consent has been given.
Activation can be done by the Admin or Owner.
Activate AI Insights
AI Insights can be activated via ADD-ONS > All or ADD-ONS > Add-ons.
To do so, open the AI Insights (Beta) add-on and then:
confirm consent to the processing of data,
optionally select business areas,
complete the activation.
After successful activation, the add-on is shown as Connected.
Note:
AI Insights is activated per company.
Select business areas
During activation, business areas can optionally be selected.
The selected business areas help AI Insights adapt the summaries to the respective industry and produce more relevant analyses.
The business areas can be changed at any time afterward.
Use AI Insights
After activation, the AI Insights section appears on supported charts and widgets.
Opening the panel shows an AI-generated summary of the data currently displayed.
The summary is based on the data of the respective chart or widget and serves as additional support when interpreting the figures.
Structure of the AI Insights panel
The AI Insights panel consists of the following elements:
Summary | Shows an AI-generated analysis of the figures currently displayed. |
Updated | Shows when the summary was last created. |
Regenerate | Regenerate creates a new summary of the data currently displayed. Creation can take a few seconds. Regenerating is particularly useful when the displayed data or the selected period has changed. |
Feedback | Thumbs up or thumbs down can be used to give feedback on the quality of the summary. The feedback supports the continuous development of AI Insights. |

Deactivate AI Insights
AI Insights can be deactivated again at any time.
To do so, open ADD-ONS > Add-ons, select the AI Insights add-on, and deactivate it. Alternatively, go directly to Company Settings > Integrations.
After deactivation, AI-generated summaries are no longer shown.
Security
COMMITLY is ISO 27001:2022 certified. Regular audits ensure compliance with and continuous development of the security standards.
COMMITLY is EU AI Act compliant. Processing follows EU data protection and AI governance standards, with active opt-in, human-in-the-loop, and hosting in the EU.
