It is possible to manually create the account of a bank that is not directly connected and load the associated transactions. This simulates the online connection and all COMMITLY functions are available.
You will need
The current account balance (date of the most recent transaction) and
the transactions available at the time of the account balance in csv format
IMPORTANT: The correctness of the data cannot be checked in this procedure. Make sure that the account balance and transactions match and that there are no gaps when uploading transactions several times.
How does COMMITLY calculate? COMMITLY takes the current account balance - in this case the manually entered balance - and calculates backwards on the basis of the uploaded transactions for the past. This means that for the account balance at the beginning of the month, the current account balance is taken and the transactions with a date in this month are deducted from it.
Manually adding an offline account
Under SETTINGS > MANAGE BANK ACCOUNTS, click on ADD ACCOUNT MANUALLY
Mandatory input fields in the side panel are marked with a red *:
After saving (clicking ADD), you will be prompted to upload csv transactions.
Offline accounts are not subject to the restrictions of the editions, i.e. any number of accounts can also be added manually in the Basic or Team Edition.
