Static plan based on actuals

Creates a plan for the rest of the fiscal year without defaults, uses the transactions already recorded in past months and starts with zero values from the current month.

This results in bottom-up planning based on actuals.

Goal: Create a plan for the rest of the year based on real data.

Steps:

  1. Select “Static plan (actuals)” as the base.

  2. Past months are automatically filled with the actuals.

  3. Upcoming months start at 0.

  4. Enter planned revenue, costs or investments manually.

Example: A plan is created in March. January and February contain actuals; from March, the company enters the planned revenue and costs.

Good for: Planning without a forecast, very detailed bottom-up approaches.
