You can create the account of a bank that is not directly connected manually and load the associated transactions. This simulates the online connection, and all COMMITLY functions are available.
You need:
The current account balance (date of the most recent transaction) and
the transactions available at the time of the account balance, in CSV format
IMPORTANT: The correctness of the data cannot be verified in this procedure. Make sure that the account balance and transactions match each other and that no time gaps arise when uploading transactions multiple times.
How does COMMITLY calculate?
COMMITLY takes the current account balance - in this case the manually entered one - and calculates backwards into the past based on the uploaded transactions. That is, for the account balance at the beginning of the month, the current account balance is taken and the transactions dated in that month are subtracted from it.
Add an offline account manually
Under Company Settings -> Bank Accounts, click ADD OFFLINE BANK
Required fields in the side panel are marked with a red *:
After clicking ADD, you are asked to upload CSV transactions.
Offline accounts are not subject to the edition limits, i.e. any number of accounts can be added manually even in the Basis or Team edition.
